1. FROM THE VESTAL PARKWAY: Heading East toward downtown Binghamton, turn RIGHT at the Number 5 Restaurant onto South Washington St. Go up S. Washington all the way to the end, and turn LEFT onto Morgan Rd. Go up Morgan Rd, past the Zoo on your right. (The Art Barn is just under 4 miles from the zoo). Continue up Morgan, past the entrance to the Binghamton Tennis Center on your left. As you reach the crest of a hill, Morgan Road makes a 90 degree turn to the right. STAY STRAIGHT – you are now on Gardener Rd. Stay on Gardener Rd, to the end – you will make a 90 degree turn to the right, then you will go down a long hill. Gardener ends on Pierce Creek Rd – turn RIGHT onto Pierce Creek Rd. Continue on Pierce Ck for approx. 1.2 miles. Saddlemire Rd is a RIGHT hand turn at the crest of a hill. Go down Saddlemire 0.5 miles – the Art Barn is on the RIGHT, #4011. Barn is yellow; house sits way back from the road and is yellow with blue shutters. Heading West from downtown Binghamton, turn LEFT onto S. Washington St and continue as above. 2. FROM CONKLIN AVENUE: Turn LEFT onto Conklin Ave from either the Exchange St. or the Thompkins St Bridge. Continue south on Conklin Ave (Rt 7 S) , past the Crowley Plant, past Eckerd, until you see the Giant on your left. At the light at the Giant, turn RIGHT onto Burr Ave. (The Art Barn is approx 4.3 miles from this point). Continue up Burr Ave, and STAY STRAIGHT through the flashing yellow light (Powers Rd veers off to the left). At this point the name of the road changes to Pierce Creek Rd. Stay on Pierce Ck Rd for approx 3.6 miles – you will pass Gardener Rd, Roberts Rd, and Stevens Rd on your right. At the crest of a hill, turn RIGHT onto Saddlemire. Continue down Saddlemire for 0.5 miles – Art Barn is on the right, #4011 – see description above. 3. FROM ROUTE 26 SOUTH: Head south on Rt. 26 toward Vestal Center. Stay on 26 south to State Line Rd (5.7 miles from the Vestal Parkway on-ramp on Rt 26) Stateline Rd is approximately 2.0 miles beyond Vestal Center. You will see a sign for the Kopernick Observatory on your right – the LEFT turn onto Stateline Rd is approx 0.4 miles beyond this sign. Turn LEFT onto Stateline Rd (across from a large sign that says “Kintner Estates”). Stay on Stateline Rd until the end (2.5 miles). Turn LEFT onto Hawleyton Rd. Stay on Hawleyton Rd for 2.7 miles. Turn RIGHT onto Saddlemire Rd ( a little way past the Town of Binghamton Garage on your left, across from Hawleyton United Methodist Church). Stay on Saddlemire for 2.7 miles. Pass Brookside Elementary School on your left – the Art Barn is approx 1.0 mile further on your left. Look for a large yellow barn on the left just after you round a large curve.
