It is my pleasure to write this endorsement for Yvonne Lucia, an outstanding artist with the heart of a healer.  Yvonne worked with me to produce a work of art we could use corporately at conferences that would ultimately benefit children and patients in hospitals all over the United States .  Even though Yvonne had never done such a project before, her patience and dedication to her art resulted in something we at Perot Systems are proud to present to our clients.   I immediately felt a connection with Yvonne as I went all the way from Texas to Binghamton , NY to meet with her to discuss our project.  I feel I have made a friend for life.

For human beings, Yvonne believes that “creativity is our birthright.”  Her faith in this premise is apparent in so many of the things she does, most certainly in the way she works with students.  Regardless of our individual background or experience, she has faith that each of us has creative ability.  I came to the Art Barn having had no formal training in creative expression, but she inspired me to have fait h in my ability and to take risks in making art. The Art Barn inspires creative and reflective thinking.  It is a very special place.  And also, I have a lot of fun out there!
